Schleich 13810 Clydesdale Colt
Clydesdales grow more slowly than other horse breeds. Foals aren’t adults at four or five years old, but at seven or eight. It’s at this age that they weigh 1,000 kg—the same as a small car. They are so strong that they can pull things that weigh much more than themselves. That’s why they need large quantities of water and food. They need 20-25 kg of grain with minerals and vitamins and about 50-60 kg of hay every day. And that makes them thirsty, of course. Very thirsty. Clydesdales drink more than 100 liters of water a day
