That’s where travel cots and playpens come into play. You don’t have to worry about the right sleeping space, or whether they’ll have a safe place to play.

It is advisable to get a light playpen, preferably one with wheels to help you lug it around. Playpens should have protective materials all around to prevent injury, and allow for plenty of aeration to regulate the temperature and reduce suffocation.
