The Babylo Quilted Fibre Folding Travel Cot Mattress (99x69x5cm) provides superb comfort and support for your little one, having been designed with safety and convenience in mind.
Generally, a new mattress for every new baby is the safest option.
Always position your mattress in the centre of your travel cot so that there is no more than a 3 cm gap between the travel cot and the mattress on the side, top, or bottom, once it has fully expanded. This allows the mattress to settle in use and leaves space for bedding. A gap on any side under 3 cm is considered safe and acceptable.
Travel cot mattresses are firmer than adult mattresses in order to keep babies safe. It also helps to support growing bones while they sleep. Frim mattresses also help reduce the risk of SIDS.
Ensure you measure your travel cot’s base dimensions carefully to ensure a secure fit with no more than a 3 cm gap on any side.
